Bonjour, good morning, buon giorno.

It started in 1998 with a house on stilts in the Hollywood Hills: I bought a dark and sad log cabin. A fake medieval drawbridge served as an entry. An armor hang on the wall. Three weeks later not only the armor and the medieval theme were gone but also a vision was realized and I could move into a white bright minimalistic dream home below the Hollywood sign.

A year later my newspaper gave me a new assignment. With pain in my heart I said bye, bye L.A., buongiorno Roma. The house in Hollywood left me with a little profit and a big passion for uncommon real estate. After the first house in Hollywood followed building projects in Paris, Nice, London, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Hamburg und Berlin. Finally I decided to give up journalism, to move to the French Riviera and to live by property development.
